Filip Markovinović was born in 1976 in Sombor. Since 1987, he lives and works in Novi Sad. He graduated from the “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” high school, majoring in natural sciences and mathematics in 1994, and then studies in multimedia direction at the Novi Sad Academy of Arts in 2000, in the class of professor Bora Drašković. He graduated in 2003 with the short feature film “Zvezdan, episode: Student” and the theater play “Hunting cockroaches” based on the text of Janusz Glowacki.
So far, he has directed 17 theater plays, 4 short feature films, as well as a large number of documentaries, television shows, commercials and music videos, etc.
He was employed at Radio Television of Vojvodina, in Video Production of Radio 021, he is one of the founders of the NFC Cinema Club Novi Sad (and its president in the period 2005-2013).
He is the founder and selector of the short feature film festival “Filmski Front” and the experimental film and music video festival “Experimental Superstars”.
Since 2011, he founded and runs the Mafin production of AV products.
Associate of MMC Led art since 2005. Member of the Forest Patrol – Novi Sad branch, within which he actively fights against all evils.
